education to needy and deserving students and increase Extension activities.
Significant Contributions made by IQAC
Industry Institute interaction has been strengthened. The Institute has got academic collaboration with IBM for CSE, IT, ECE and AI & DS. Faculty members have been trained in 'Nan Muthalvan' Scheme of Tamilnadu Government. Value added courses have been conducted in all programmes in collaboration with reputed Industries.
Continuous training for Faculty members in ICT tools to make teaching learning process more effective. Video lectures were prepared by faculty members and uploaded on the Institution's YouTube Channel.
To inculcate research culture, 12 research projects have been supported under Research seed money scheme. Faculty members published 93 research papers in SCOPUS indexed journals and 42 text books have been published. Extension activities like Plastic free world, Energy conservation, Books donation and tree planting have been initiated.
IQAC initiated academic alliance with online platforms like Coursera, EdX and NPTEL – 375 courses completed by faculty and students. Faculty participated in nearly 700 webinars, 292 FDP/STTPs and over 200 programmes were organized in virtual mode. NBA Status extended up to 2025 for Aeronautical, CSE, ECE and Mechanical Engineering.
